Sports Lighting Renewal Various Parks - 2025

We are currently executing the 2025 Sports Lighting Renewal Program across multiple municipal parks, involving the removal and replacement of existing outdoor sports field lighting systems. The scope includes demolition of outdated lighting infrastructure, installation of new poles, and upgrading to modern, energy-efficient sports lighting fixtures to improve visibility, safety, and performance for night-time use. The project covers Meadowwood Park Tennis Court (Ward 9), Ron Lenyk Springfield Park (Ward 1), Kennedy Park (Ward 2), Bruce Reynold Park (Ward 8), Fleetwood Park (Ward 6), and Sherwood Green Park Tennis Court (Ward 3). All works are being completed in compliance with applicable standards, with careful coordination to minimize disruption to park users and ensure safe construction operations throughout all sites.
